What we collect, and why.

NetLease.Studio (“we,” “us”) publishes net lease research, news and media at netlease.studio. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the site, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep collection to the minimum the site needs.

Information you give us

Newsletter signups. When you subscribe, we collect your email address, the page you signed up from, and any tenants you chose to follow. We use this only to send the newsletter and to personalize which tenants appear in your issue.

Messages. If you email us, we keep your message and address to reply.

Information stored in your browser

Tenants you follow are saved in your browser’s local storage on your device. We don’t receive that list unless you subscribe to the newsletter, in which case it’s sent along with your signup. Clearing your browser data removes it.

Information collected automatically

Analytics. We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views and understand which pages are useful. It does not use cookies and does not track you across other websites; it reports aggregated data such as pages visited, referring site, country, browser and device type.

Server logs. Our hosting provider, Vercel, processes technical data such as IP address, browser type and request time to deliver the site, keep it secure and prevent abuse (for example, limiting repeated signup attempts).

We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not sell or rent personal information.

Third-party content

Our news wire links to articles on other publishers’ websites, and some headline thumbnails load directly from those publishers’ servers, which means your browser contacts them and they may see your IP address. Video pages may embed YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode. Links to other sites are governed by those sites’ own policies.

Service providers

We share information only with providers that help us run the site: Vercel (hosting and analytics) and our email newsletter provider, which stores subscriber addresses and delivers email on our behalf. They may only use the information to provide services to us.

How long we keep it

We keep subscriber information until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Analytics data is aggregated. Server logs are kept for a limited period by our hosting provider.

Your choices and rights

Every newsletter includes a one-click unsubscribe link. You can also ask us to access, correct or delete the information we hold about you by emailing hello@netlease.studio. Depending on where you live (for example, California or the EU/UK), you may have additional rights under local law, and we will honor requests made under them.

Children

The site is intended for professionals and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be noted in the newsletter.
